Horsham’s Muay Thai fighters saw big wins at the War Fight Series in Wolverhampton this weekend, with all three fighters coming away victorious.

Returning to competition for the first time after three years of retirement and the birth of her first child, former ISKA English and European Champion Holly Connaugton secured a big win against current UK number seven Ally Skye.
Once Holly was announced as the winner, it was only fitting that she was mobbed by her young students in the ring. Holly now teaches the next generation of Horsham’s Muay Thai fighters, making the moment even more special.
Leo Spaulding came through to victory after a long, hard-fought battle, where he was forced to showcase his entire Muay Thai repertoire against a durable opponent.
Leo’s trainer, Danny Connaugton, said after the fight: “Leo’s coming on leaps and bounds and is only getting better. He’s a real student of the game. Everything we’ve been working on, he put into practice. I honestly couldn’t be any more proud of how far this young man has come in such a short space of time.”
Elliot Brown saw his opponent stopped by medics after an accidental groin shot early in the first round. Elliot will now be looking to have a longer test in the future.
The three fighters from AMS Gym are putting Horsham on the map with its growing Muay Thai community, and these three victories look to be only the beginning.
