Crawley’s Romesh Ranganathan fifth favourite to win The Celebrity Traitors

Crawley comedian Romesh Ranganathan is fifth favourite to win The Celebrity Traitors, according to predictions released after episode six.

The TV presenter and actor has been given odds of 47/3 by ActionNetwork.com, representing an implied winning probability of six per cent.

The figures, published ahead of episode seven, put Ranganathan behind Michael Sheen, Miranda Hart, King Kenny and Sebastian Croft, but ahead of fellow comedian James Acaster and presenter Maya Jama.

Sheen leads the winner predictions at 7/3, followed by Hart at 4/1 and King Kenny at 20/3.

Meanwhile, the next episode could spell trouble for James Blunt, who is the favourite to be banished at 13/7. Acaster and Jama follow at 3/1 each.

Ross Kemp is rated the most likely contestant to become the Traitors’ fourth victim, with odds of 5/6, ahead of Jerry Hall at 13/7.

An ActionNetwork.com spokesperson said: “Following last episode’s cliffhanger, the fourth victim of the traitors looks set to be either Jerry Hall or Ross Kemp – though Ross seems the more likely to yawn, with odds of 5/6 to get murdered in plain sight, compared to Jerry’s 13/7.

"However, the traitors were handed a tough task, and in situations like this, proximity to the victim becomes the talking point the next day – which is exactly why James Acaster and Maya Jama have both seen their banishment odds shorten to 3/1, with both expected to be linked to their time spent with Jerry or Ross.

"Having said that, James Blunt is currently the favourite to get banished with odds of 13/7 – he has now led the charge against two banished faithfuls, and the other contestants are most likely not going to forget that.

"As for the win, Michael Sheen remains out in front at 7/3 to win the series, with Miranda Hart closing in at 4/1 thanks to the trust she’s built with the other faithful.

"King Kenny, meanwhile, sits in third place to win at 20/3 – unlike Maya and James, he will seemingly have no ties to the previous night’s crime, which will allow him to keep flying under the radar.”
