Chichester marketing specialist named finalist across multiple UK business awards
A Chichester marketing founder who started her career on the shop floor has been shortlisted for 'Organic Campaign of The Year', one of SocialDay's national honours for marketing.
Jade Rideout, founder of The Soulful Marketing Company, grew up in Chichester and attended Chichester College, where she studied Creative Media BTEC and A-levels in Spanish, English Language and Photography.

She later held multiple retail roles across the City at House of Fraser and Katie Loxton, before landing a much-loved role as receptionist at Golf at Goodwood.
Her first break in the industry came in 2018 at Kitch Media, a social media agency working with food, lifestyle and hospitality brands, where she held the title of Social Media Manager and first learned the skills that would later define her career.
From Kitch Media she landed a freelance position at the Brighton-based digital marketing agency, Trapeze Media in 2021, securing a full-time role in the business after six months.
Fast forward to 2022 when she left a London role in influencer marketing to build The Soulful Marketing Co. full-time; an organic marketing consultancy working with wellness, hospitality, and lifestyle founders across the UK.
During her freelance career she has managed social media campaigns for several local brands, including El Matador, The Sanctum, Soul Alchemy, Vitae Vi and The Butler Collection.
"As a local girl who has worked in and with some of the City's most-loved businesses, it's such an honour to be recognised for multiple national awards in marketing." said Jade.
'Organic Campaign of The Year' celebrates campaigns that prove creativity and community still beat media spend when the idea is right and the execution is sharp. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on October 8 in London.
Jade said the recognition felt particularly meaningful given where she started.
She said: "I spent years folding jumpers and working weekend shifts, wondering what I actually wanted to do in life. Being shortlisted for something like this, all these years later, having grown up here, still working with the people who bring these businesses to life, it means more than any award on its own could.”
