Chichester Observer Business Awards 2026: Winner of Charity of the Year
Tangmere-based Sage House has been recognised as Charity of the Year for its wide-ranging support for people living with dementia and their families.
Organised and presented by the Chichester Observer and Midhurst & Petworth Observer, the Chichester and District Business Awards 2026 took place on Monday (November 2) at Chichester Festival Theatre. They celebrated and commended the wide range of fantastic businesses across Chichester and its neighbouring areas, with 11 awards to be won.
Its dedicated hub offers support, information, advice and activities through an extensive programme of services. These include Daisy’s Cafe, an assessment service, day breaks, dementia training, outreach groups, support groups, the Smart Zone, way finding and wellbeing activities.
By bringing so many services together under one roof, the charity has created a welcoming space for people affected by dementia to access help, connection and ongoing support.

A spokesperson for Sage House said: “It’s something to share with our staff, our volunteers and our customers who make Sage House such a special place. It’s an incredible endorsement of all the work they do and all the support they give to people affected by dementia.”
