Chichester Observer Business Awards 2026: Winner of New Business of the Year
Selsey-based Zephyr Group Ltd has taken home the Start Up/New Business of the Year award, having been incorporated in June 2025.
Organised and presented by the Chichester Observer and Midhurst & Petworth Observer, the Chichester and District Business Awards 2026 took place on Monday (November 2) at Chichester Festival Theatre. They celebrated and commended the wide range of fantastic businesses across Chichester and its neighbouring areas, with 11 awards to be won.
The business brings together specialist laminators, trimmers and fitters under one roof in a facility organised around composite production. Its work serves a range of specialist sectors, including defence, Formula 1 and motorsport, and high-performance automotives.
The award marks an early milestone for a business bringing together skilled expertise and specialist manufacturing capabilities.
Billy Jennings, owner of Zephyr Group Ltd, said: “It means so much to win this award, not just to me, but to my staff. My staff are the most important thing – they’re like family. We’ve all worked so hard over the last 15 months, it’s been incredible. The growth we’ve had is insane, and we’re all in it together.”
