A new Greek takeaway has opened in Horsham town centre.

Greek Gyros Spot is now welcoming customers at 25 East Street – a premises previously occupied by a Chinese takeaway.

A photograph taken on Wednesday, October 14, shows that the business is now trading.

Describing itself as a Greek takeaway and fast-food restaurant, the independent eatery says staff serve dishes made with fresh ingredients and traditional recipes.

Its menu includes lamb gyros, chicken souvlaki, Greek salads and Greek fries, alongside burgers and cheesy chips.

On its website, the business says: “From amazing lamb gyros and chicken souvlaki to burgers and cheesy chips, everything is made with quality ingredients and proper Greek recipes.

"Looking for gyros delivery in Horsham? We deliver hot meals across Horsham and the surrounding RH12/RH13 areas.”

The takeaway also says it is ‘open late for your late-night cravings’ and offers large orders, platters and custom catering for parties and other events.
