Convenience and grocery store seeks extended alcohol delivery hours in Crawley
Bazaar Mini Mart in Crawley has applied to extend its alcohol licensing hours, allowing off-premises sales and home deliveries until 3am daily.
Bansidhar Limited has submitted an application to Crawley Borough Council to vary the premises licence for Bazaar Mini Mart, located at Unit 3, Gatwick Road, Crawley, RH10 9RF.
The application, made under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003, seeks permission to sell alcohol for consumption off the premises between 7am and 3am, Monday to Sunday.
The proposed variation would also cover online alcohol sales and home deliveries made through third-party platforms.
Under the proposals, all online alcohol deliveries would be completed by 3am. Between 10pm and 3am, the premises would operate exclusively for home deliveries, with no public access permitted during those hours.
The application is available for inspection through Crawley Borough Council’s licensing register at crawley.gov.uk, or by arrangement with the council’s Licensing Team at Town Hall, The Boulevard, Crawley, RH10 1UZ.
Residents and other interested parties wishing to comment on the application must submit their representations in writing to the Licensing Team at the above address or by email to [email protected].
The deadline for representations is November 11, 2026.
The notice also reminds applicants and members of the public that knowingly or recklessly making a false statement in connection with an application or notice under the Licensing Act 2003 is an offence under Section 158 of the Act. A person convicted of the offence on summary conviction may face a fine of up to level 5 on the standard scale.
