Worthing shoppers can hunt for Lucky Hearts throughout February for a chance to win prizes
Shoppers in Worthing are urged to join in a Lucky Hearts treasure hunt for the chance to win a range of prizes donated by local traders.
Worthing Business Improvement District launched the competition on February 1 and will be hiding handmade crochet heart keyrings around the town centre for the whole month.
Hannah Manzaroli, BID manager, said: "The initiative is designed to boost footfall, support high street businesses and create a fun, engaging experience for residents and visitors. Families, friends and regular shoppers are all encouraged to take part and explore the variety of retailers and hospitality venues across Worthing."
By leaving heart keyrings in various locations, the BID hopes to encourage people to support local businesses and discover everything Worthing has to offer.

Hannah said: "The Lucky Hearts competition invites visitors to find hidden handmade heart keyrings which have been placed all over town throughout the month of February. Each entry gives participants the opportunity to enter a raffle to win a range of prizes donated by local traders, celebrating the town’s vibrant independent scene and rewarding those who shop locally.
"The Lucky Hearts competition is about celebrating our brilliant local businesses and saying thank you to the community that supports them. It is a fun way to encourage people to shop local, discover new favourites and enjoy time in the town centre.”
Entries will be drawn after the competition closes on March 2. Full details, including how to enter and a list of participating businesses, are available online and in stores.
