East Sussex Police crack down on speeding with enforcements
Wealden Police reported officers were out monitoring drivers’ speed to crack down on unsafe driving.
A force spokesperson said: “ ‘Catch any real criminals?’

“It's a question we often see when we're carrying out speed enforcement.
“Keeping people safe on our roads is real police work.
“Yesterday, officers from your Neighbourhood Policing Team were on Seven Sisters Road, Willingdon, carrying out speed checks using the Speed Indicator Device.
“While we were there, we spoke with a number of local residents about their concerns and offered words of advice to one driver regarding their speed.
“Speeding might not always make headlines, but it is one of the key factors in serious and fatal collisions. Taking the time to educate drivers, respond to community concerns, and encourage safer driving plays a huge part in keeping our roads safe.
“Thank you to everyone who stopped to speak with us.
