House Bob Launched

BUILDING on their success, Redrow Homes invited top celebrities Emlyn Hughes OBE and children's favourite Bob the Builder to help launch three new showhouses at Bramley Green, Angmering.

The former Liverpool and England footballer and star of A Question Of Sport, whose nickname was Crazy Horse, was delighted to cut the ribbon, ably assisted by Bob, on Saturday morning.

And champagne and flowers was presented to Robert and Denise Prowse, who were the first people to reserve a house on the new development.

They are looking forward to moving from Ferring with their children, two-year-old Richard and three-year-old Georgina.

"We are very excited and cannot wait to move in," enthused Denise.

Redrow Southern sales director David Caught shared the Prowse's enthusiasm and was encouraged by the positive feedback received so far.

"We are quite pleased. It has taken us a little while to get ready and now we have sold 11 houses already, which is superb."

Bramley Green stands on the old nurseries and mushroom farm and will contain a selection of three, four and five bedroomed houses.

Building work on all 161 houses in the development is expected to be completed in two-and-a-half years' time, with the first houses expected to be ready within the next two weeks.
