Lent Lunches raise hundreds of pounds for charity
A SERIES of Lent Lunches at Icklesham Memorial Hall in March and April raised £655 for a number of charities.
Good causes to benefit from the lunches include MacMillan Nurses, Chernobyl Children Rye, The Samaritans, The Fishermen’s Mission and The British Legion.
Janet Pegg said: “Thank you to everyone who supported the Lent Lunches.”
The first Lent Lunch of 2015 takes place on March 25 at Icklesham Memorial Hall.
