Andy wins November Medal at Lottbridge

44 members took part in the Lottbridge Golf Club November Medal on a slightly chilly and mirky Sunday morning. The course was in great condition though, thanks to Ray, Matt and his Greenkeeping Staff.
Club Captain, Neil Twyman, thanked: the Fairway Staff, of Emily. Julianne and Mike, for looking after everyone; Jim Woolley, Les Buckle and Tony Bryant, for their administration assistance and Len Callnon for starting everyone off.
Neil said that his charity, balls in the water, donations were being given to Lee Driver for his Movember collection, along with this month’s Devonshire Trophy. A great decision Neil and good luck Lee.
This was Neil’s last Medal as Club Captain and he thanked all of the members for their support over the last 12 months. You have been a great Captain Neil and many thanks for your hard work and dedication.
Neil then presented prizes to the following:
Overall Winner – Andy Watson with a brilliant net 65.
Division 1 Winner – Chris Moorton with an excellent net 67.
Division 2 Winner – Marvin Ovenden with net 69.
Lowest Gross – Tom Cruttenden with a fantastic 68.
Nearest the Pin on Holes 2/11 – Ben Meredith.
Nearest the Pin on Holes 6/15 – John Craig.
Nearest the Pin on Holes 9/18 – Luke Hunt.
There were 4 scores of 2 and these were achieved by:
Ben Meredith on hole 11.
Dan Sellings on hole 11.
Dan Byrne on hole 18.
John Craig on hole 15.

The lucky £10 Card Draw Winner was Scott Bennell.
The 2026 Devonshire Trophy winners were: Tony Fox, Division 1 and John Craig, Division 2. Neil presented them with their Tophies. Well played and congratulations, Tony and John, for your great play and consistency over the 2025/2026 Season.
