Barcombe art group's first exhibition hailed a success

On Saturday 31st October Barcombe Art + Craft Group held their first exhibition in their beautiful Village Hall.
It was a great success, so we intend for this to become an annual event!
Exhibitors sold £800 worth of a wide selection of paintings and crafts and everyone who came enjoyed the mouth-watering refreshments from Barcombe W I.
The section we called ‘Changing Barcombe’ where we collated and displayed a wealth of archived photos and texts as well as paintings and drawings done by members to document the past and ongoing changes to the village was also well received.
Our raffle in aid of Parkinsons UK raised £362. We hope some who came and enjoyed the exhibition will decide to join us and make new friends and get creative!
