County Mall has announced a new partnership with Crawley Hockey Club, becoming a Junior Development Partner and supporting the club’s work to encourage more young people across the local community to get active through hockey.

The partnership reflects County Mall’s ongoing commitment to supporting local organisations and creating positive opportunities for the Crawley community.
As part of the partnership, County Mall will provide opportunities for Crawley Hockey Club to have a presence within the shopping centre at different times throughout the year, including during key events. This will give the club opportunities to raise awareness of its activities, promote junior hockey and connect with potential new players and members.
Damien Gough, County Mall, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Crawley Hockey Club as a Junior Development Partner. Supporting young people and helping them to develop skills, confidence and a love of being active is something that aligns really closely with our commitment to the local community. “We’re looking forward to working with the club throughout the year and finding more ways that we can support them, raise awareness of the fantastic work they do and help them connect with the wider Crawley community.”
Kieran Nixon, Chairman of Crawley Hockey Club, commented: “As a community-run hockey club, contributions like this are incredibly valuable to us, and we’re hugely grateful to County Mall for their support.
“This support will help strengthen our junior section, which is already a thriving and hugely important part of our club. Our ambition is to get more people across Crawley physically active through playing hockey, and we believe that starts from a young age by giving children the opportunity to discover the sport, develop their skills and, most importantly, fall in love with being active.
“We’re incredibly thankful to County Mall for recognising the value of what we’re trying to achieve as a community club, and we hope this is the beginning of a fantastic relationship that will allow us to continue working together to benefit the local community.”
