Light up your memories of a passed loved one this Christmas on the Tree of Light

Have the names of your passed loved ones printed in the Hastings, St Leonards& Rye Observer and donate funds to purchase food hampers for those in need this Christmas.

 The tree will be erected in its usual place opposite the old Debenhams store. This year donations given in memory of departed loved ones will be collected in a slightly different way through Nationwide as the Halifax branch has now closed. Donations can continue to be made via “JustGiving”.

 John Bownas, Manager,  at Love Hastings Ltd, has again arranged for a different Christmans Tree spectacle. We are very grateful for his generosity and the  support received from Hastings Observer and Nationwide Hastings branch.

 We are also grateful to Rotavive Hastings and friends for assembling and distributing the hampers.

 Last year about 100 people were remembered and £1,000 raised to help families and individuals.

 The ‘Tree of Light’ should not be confused with the ‘Lights of Love’ which supports our wonderful Hospice.
