The Old Bexhillians Walking Football Club is heavily involved in charity fundraising when the opportunity arises and our Chair Mick Davies recently handed over a sizeable contribution to Trudy Hampton of Warming Up the Homeless. This is the money raised at the club`s summer barbecue plus the prize amount the winner of the longest drive at OBs golf day handed to Mick on the day. The photograph is of Mick and Trudie.
W.U.T.H Charity is just one of the club’s many interests and is pleased to be able to function as a club that promotes activity for walking football and to assist local charities by having a social programme full of quizzes and music events that are used as fund raisers. Walking football is open to males from the age of 50 and females from the age of 40.
