Wannabes crowned music quiz champions in St Leonards

Genial Dave Hooper compered a brilliant music quiz at St Paul’s School, St Leonards, that raised £1000 for the Hastings Sierra Leone Friendship Link's projects in our west African twin town.

The clever questions set by Lesley-Ann Matthews tested a wide variety of musical knowledge, from Classical to Pop via nursery rhymes and the charts. 

Several teams battled it out for the top spot from round to round, until the Wannabes, dark horses who had kept their Joker till the last round in a risky move, snatched victory with a convincing three point lead.

The 78’s displayed an amazing knowledge of album sleeves and carried off the Picture Round with an almost perfect score. The Friendship Link would like to thank all those who made the evening such a success, and to all its very generous supporters.
