Last opportunity to tee off at Sussex theme park

Families across East Sussex are preparing to say a temporary goodbye to the Enchanted Forest Crazy Golf, as preparations get underway for a major overhaul. The popular crazy golf course at Knockhatch Adventure Park, Hailsham, has construction teams scheduled to move on-site starting on Monday 7th September. Plans have been shared on social media, with Diane Sawyer commenting, "Knockhatch is continuously adding to an already amazing park, we can't wait to try the new crazy golf!"

The ambitious redesign will introduce nine brand-new themed holes designed to test the putting skills of visitors of all ages. Highlights on the upcoming scorecard include a quirky "Mushroom Maze" complete with giant toadstools, a spinning vortex built around a large old oak tree stump, and an imaginative "Snail Trail" featuring an internal loop-the-loop. As before, a small returnable deposit will be required for the ball and club. An app is also in development to keep a record of strokes per player.

The redevelopment will introduce improved features. Plans detail a shallow waterfall, complete with safety rails, alongside fresh brushed concrete pathways to ensure accessible navigation across the course. Social media users also commented on the announcement praising Knockhatch's continued investment with new animal exhibits, family rides and splash pads, which provide even more value for annual pass members and day visitors.

Colin Jaggers, Managing Director, said, "Enchanted Forest has been a firm favourite for years. The refurb has been planned for quite some time, and I am looking forward to playing a round myself!"

Before the landscapers arrive and the old course is officially retired, local families are being encouraged to plan a final visit to improve their scores For more information, please visit knockhatch.com
