Mims was honoured to be able to join the very moving annual Adam Dabell Memorial Football match in East Grinstead alongside local Councillors and residents.

Adam Dabell, a young local footballer, tragically passed away from an un-diagnosed heart condition. His family, friends, and community have since come together to raise awareness about young sudden cardiac death and support the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
The below memorial fund has been set up by the family to help CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) raise awareness of young sudden cardiac death, support those affected, support CRY’s screening programme and fund research and pathology: https://www.c-r-y.org.uk/adam-dabell/

Following a young sudden cardiac death CRY offers help to families through our bereavement support programme, as well as helping families to understand what caused the death and to be referred to inherited cardiac conditions specialists.
CRY wants All young people to have the opportunity to have heart screening. 1 in 300 people CRY tests will have a potentially life threatening heart condition which will benefit from lifestyle advice, treatment and sometimes corrective surgery.
