Established as a charitable trust and not-for-profit organisation seventy years ago, Heathfield has remained true to its original purpose of providing a welcoming and caring home for older people in Horsham.

General Manager, Sharon Hamilton said “It was lovely to see so many familiar faces coming together to celebrate this very special occasion. Seventy years is a remarkable milestone and it was particularly meaningful to share it with our Residents, Families, Friends and Trustees, both past and present. Heathfield has such a wonderful history and we are very proud to be part of its continuing story. The anniversary was also an opportunity to recognise the dedication of the Staff, Volunteers and Trustees who have helped make Heathfield what it is today".

Saturday's celebration was a lovely reminder of just how much Heathfield means to so many people in Horsham. As the home begins its next chapter there is a great deal to be proud of and the warmth, kindness and sense of community that began in 1956 will remain at the heart of Heathfield for many years to come.
