Hard-hitting action drama starring Ryan Gosling as a mechanic with nice sidelines as a Hollywood stunt driver and a getaway driver as well as becoming a race driver too. Needless to say, it's his criminal activity that provides most of the story, with a massive pawn shop heist involving the driver's neighbour (Carey Mulligan), her husband who has recently been released from jail and others within his multi-job circle. Four BAFTA nominations, including best film and best director.
Sponsored by the Sussex Community Foundation.
Cert 18 (contains violent scenes), duration 97 mins. SDH subtitles.
Monday 9th November, 2.00 pm. £5. Tickets available on-line via https://ropetacklecentre.co.uk/whats-on/ or from Ropetackle Box Office, Little High Street, Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, BN43 5EG.
