'Town centre continues to grow' - New eatery opens in Worthing and two set to follow
Worthing town centre is set to expand its food and hospitality offering with the arrival of new businesses.
The Worthing Town Centre Business Improvement District (BID) shared the news on social media.
According to the BID, two new outlets are due to open soon, while another has already begun trading in the area.
Pizza n Chick Plaza has already opened on Montague Street. The new eatery serves a wide range of pizzas and burgers, with loaded fries and chicken dishes also on the menu.

Also set to join the street – in the space previously occupied by Peony – is Muffin Break, a bakery and café chain known for its coffee, muffins and light meals.
According to its website, Muffin Break serves gourmet pies, quiches, wraps, cakes, scones and cookies as well as its ‘famous muffins’.
Meanwhile, Jacket and Mash Co. is preparing to open on High Street, offering baked potatoes with a variety of fillings.
A Facebook post read: “Spring is here, but jackets and mash aren’t just for cosy winter nights.
"Light, fresh, or classic – whatever your style, these comfort favourites are perfect all year round.
"The Jacket & Mash Co. – proper comfort food, coming soon to 26 High St, Worthing, BN11 1NU.”
The latest additions reflect continued growth in Worthing’s town centre – but some people are calling for more clothes shops, rather than eateries.
BID manager Hannah Manzaroli said: “We’re very lucky in Worthing that our vacancy rates are a lot lower than they are across the country.
“We have lots of companies who are keen to invest in the town. We have more coming in the future.
“I think we would love to see a variety on the high street but we would definitely rather see a shop being used, than not.
"It's a reflection of what the people of Worthing are looking for. We're really lucky that, in Worthing, we have such a diverse collection of restaurants.
"And we're kind of famous for our food. So I think that's something that we should be encouraging.”
The new openings are part of a broader strategy, to support regeneration, and enhance the town’s appeal for both residents and visitors.
