Severe delays on A27 following reports of 'crash'
There are reports of severe delays on the A27 Lewes Road, according to AA Traffic News.
The alert, first reported at 4:26pm, says there are delays of ‘14 minutes’ and an average speed of ‘five mph’.
Another alert says there are ‘easing’ delays of six minutes on the A27 Lewes Road westbound between Brown Jack Avenue and Thornwell Road.
But at 4:43pm, it was reported that the A27 Polegate Bypass was partially blocked between Station Road and Brown Jack Avenue due to a ‘crash’.
Temporary traffic lights remain in place on the A27 Lewes Road both ways at Gainsborough Lane due to electricity works.
