Andrew Griffith, MP for Arundel and South Downs, has launched his annual Christmas card competition, open to all children aged 12 and under.

He has written to all primary schools inviting them to join in, and hopes some children will make this a fun half-term activity.
The entry rules are simple:

Pictures only – no writing, as the Christmas greeting will be printed inside the card.
Flat artwork – please do not use cotton wool, glitter or large decorations.
A4 size – or a similar rectangular shape that can be reproduced on a Christmas card.
The MP said he would love receive Christmas pictures, and particularly artwork inspired by the local area, including the South Downs, farms, churches, historic buildings and animals.
Entries can be submitted by email as a PDF or JPG to [email protected]. Alternatively, post to Andrew Griffith MP, House of Common, London, SW1A 0AA.
Please ensure that each entry is clearly marked with the child’s name and school year group. If submitting entries by email, please keep the original artwork safe in case it is shortlisted for a prize.
The closing date is Thursday 12 November 2026.
Andrew Griffith said: " I look forward to visiting the winning schools for the prizegiving day, and I have invited a local artist Tilly Lock www.tillylockart.com to help judge the entries independently and pick the winning entries. There will be prizes for the overall winning entry and three runners-up. I will also write a personal letter of thanks to every child who submits a picture
"I am really looking forward to seeing the children’s creativity and the wonderful pictures they produce!
"My thanks to this year's card sponsors, local businesses Sky Park Farm, Class Cover Ltd and Baker & Baker. "
